TUDOR BLACK IN THE BREAKFAST ROOM

The fence between us and the neighbour was really old and nearly falling apart. Since we had quite a few panels to reuse (they were put up on the different levels on the garden for safety reasons). The idea came up to replace that fence with the new panels so we asked the neighbours for permission. They were overjoyed by the idea and we did it together! A nice way of getting to know them better. We used 4 panels (doubled to make it more sturdy). I sanded them and Bruce (husband and partner in crime) screwed them together. I then painted them Tudor Black. The same with the door. The panel on the first level went the same way. We found a garden storage box at Morrisons and ordered a black bin to finish that corner of the breakfast room. What a difference!     Here you can see a glimpse of how the second level, The Dining Room, will turn out. But you will have to wait a bit longer for that...hold on in there and see you soon!
