PLANTING IN THE MORNING COFFEE ROOM

After the wall was painted, time for some planting. We have had the black planters for years and they fitted the new "morning coffe room" perfectly. This room is the first one you enter either from the house, or from the gangway behind our terraced set of houses. The gravel was already there and we have continued that theme of gravel and slabs.

During our local covid walks from home we found a Jasmin tree and took some seedling. Exciting to see if they will survive...

Thyme and chives love living on the small sideboard, design John Reeves. The sideboard has a dual functionality and is part of a garden furniture range by him called Louis. In the "dining room" that you will see later in this blog, the rest of this outdoor furniture range will be shown.

Here you can see the sideboard/bench in more detail. I love the childrens watering can that I found at B&M, perfekt for watering seeds and seedlings.

Planted some nausturtium seeds, I love their sunshine colours and how they trail. More soon...
